It is a great thrill for IRONWEAR to have Michael Sottiriou as an Ironwear Trainer. Michael started training years ago with Ironwear equipment under the encouragement and guidance of his father George Sottiriou, also a long-time Ironwear Trainer.
In addition to competing, Michael is now providing guidance and encouragement to others and we are proud to have Michael as part of our Ironwear Trainer team.
Michael has shown what hard work, good training, and the right tools can do for an athlete. He is a great role model for others to follow.

"Dear Mr Cook.
My name is Michael G Sottiriou.I started my Martial Arts training at the Tiger Schulmanns MMA organization in 1992 at the age of 4. I'm currently a 2nd degree Black Belt and I'm in the instructor training program with the goal of one day being a Sensei in the TSK MMA organization and a owner of a school. I also compete in MMA competition grappling and kick boxing at Tiger Schulmanns Challenge of the Champions,this DEC. will be my second challenge,which leads me up to why i train with IRON WEAR FITNESS GEAR. First i do not have access to a gym and now I'm glad i do not. The reason i say this is there is no way that a gym with free weights could strengthen me as specifically as where i need to be as with Iron Wear Fitness gear. I currently train with a 25lb. short vest and 20lb uni-pants,there by distributing 45lbs over my upper and lower torso. All the exercises drills,fighting drills and running process my heart and lungs and than my muscles where they need to be,not some of my muscles as isotonic and free weights,but all of them. Here are some of the credits that i have received after 6 months of training with your gear. 35 pull ups with 45 lbs, 20 pull ups with 60 lbs and 50 pull ups no weight after doing the first two sets with weight ,105 pull ups in three sets. Run three miles with 45lb, 200 jumping jacks, 60 push ups and 10 min of rope jumping, rope climbing from the seated position floor to ceiling, some 30 ft,three times consecutively all with 45 lbs of Iron Wear Fitness Gear. As my father,the Strength Trainer has told you we have a IRON WEAR FITNESS GEAR BOOT CAMP right after our two hour very intense workout in the instructor training program at TSK . Thank you for helping me to achieve a level of physical proficiency that other wise i could never have achieved.
